Merrigan promoted by U.S. Army

Merrigan promoted by U.S. Army PFC Rian P. Merrigan, son of Kathy Merrigan of Vermillion, has recently been promoted to E4 Specialist.

The U.S. Army has stationed Merrigan in Baumholder, Germany.

Merrigan recently received the Army Commendation Medal for his duty in Kosovo and the Army Achievement Medal.

He is the grandson of Wayne (Moose) and Mary Merrigan of Vermillion and the late Vi and Ken Ireland of Scotland.
