Celebrating Catholic schools St. Agnes School celebrated Catholic Schools Week Jan. 30-Feb. 5 following the theme "Lighting the Way to a New Century." St. Agnes School celebrated Catholic Schools Week Jan. 30-Feb. 5 following the theme "Lighting the Way to a New Century." In addition to an all-school Mass, and the annual turkey dinner and auction, the students participated in collecting funds for House of Hope, a domestic violence shelter. On Friday, Feb. 4, students launched balloons to cap off the Catholic Schools Week celebration. Each had a student's name inside with St. Agnes School's address. Since the balloons were launched, the school has received notes from people who have found the balloons in Nebraska, Kansas and even Ohio. (Photo by M. Jill Karolevitz)
