They can credit Friday's win, which extended their winning streak to 17 straight games, in part to the enthusiastic support of nearly 3,300 fans in the stands. Many of the fans were on their feet waving signs printed with a large red "3" every time a Coyote sunk a 3-point shot. The Coyotes' winning streak ended Saturday, however, when Minnesota State-Mankato left Vermillion with a 75-73 victory. The Coyotes are on the road this weekend, challenging Nebraska-Omaha and Northern Colorado.
