Lunn appointed bank president Larry F. Ness, chief executive officer of First Dakota National Bank, has announced the appointment of Gene Lunn as president of the Vermillion location. Lunn is responsible for the commercial lending area and will oversee the operations of the Vermillion bank.
Lunn has been an employee of First Dakota since 1978 and most recently served as vice president of consumer and real estate lending in Vermillion. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota/Springfield and the Graduate School of Banking, Boulder, CO. Lunn is a Vermillion resident and is actively involved in the community. He currently serves on the Dakota Hospital Board, Sioux Valley Health Network Board, Vermillion Summer Arts Festival Board, Vermillion Chamber of Commerce and the Vermillion Development Company. Lunn replaces Ron Johnson, who recently retired from First Dakota.
