Rawlins Piano Trio performs in Vermillion and Sioux Falls The nationally acclaimed Rawlins Piano Trio of The University of South Dakota will present the third program of its four-concert series on March 21 and 24 in Sioux Falls and Vermillion, respectively.
The concert series titled, "Stepping Stones across the Millennium," features a fascinating mix of standard as well as unusual repertoire.
The third concert is called "Musical Monuments," and will include the immense Trio, Op. 50 of Tchaikovsky and Trio No. 1 by the 19th century American composer, William Robjohn.
The Trio will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 in Sioux Falls at the First Presbyterian Church. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for students/children.
In Vermillion, the Trio will perform on Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m. in Farber Hall of Old Main on the USD campus. The Vermillion concert is free and open to the public.
The concert series, which opened with performances in September, is co-sponsored by the USD Medical School and the College of Fine Arts.
