VMS will host singers from area The Vermillion Middle School will host approximately 200 seventh- and eighth-grade singers from Vermillion, Viborg, Beresford and Elk Point-Jefferson on Tuesday, March 14 for Junior High Choral Festival 2000. The festival concert will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion.
Singers will spend the afternoon rehearsing with Professor Larry Torkelson, director of the USD Choral Department and guest conductor of the festival.
The VHS Show Choir under the direction of Jeanne Dahlin will also perform.
