City will launch Operation Pride Operation Pride, a program designed to help spruce up Vermillion and Clay County, will begin with free spring clean up activities at the local landfill and at Missouri River Recycling in Vermillion.
Yard waste will be received free at the landfill from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 7 and 8. Watch next week's Plain Talk for more details on this cooperative effort.
