Historical society annual meeting set

Historical society annual meeting set The Clay County Historical Society annual meeting will be held April 13 at the Austin Whittemore House.

A potluck supper starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program "Early Vermillion Before the Flood of 1881" by Arthur Rusch.

Rusch will show pictures of early Vermillion before the town was moved to the bluff after the flood.

The community is invited to attend the supper and program.
