Stewart is medalist at invite The Vermillion High School girls' golf team played in the Sioux City North Invitational on Monday, April 24.

The nine-hole competition, played at Sioux City Country Club, involved the four local Sioux City high schools, LeMars, IA, and Vermillion.

Medalist with a score of 44 was Allison Stewart, who led the Tanager team to second place in the tournament.

Heelan High claimed the first place victory with a total score of 200, while VHS scored 205.

The other Vermillion team members and their scores were: Kelly Peterson 53, Tabitha Hubert 53, Karrie Plate 55, and Terri Upward 63.
