Umpire group sets clinic on April 2 The Southeast Umpire Group Spring Clinic is scheduled for 5 p.m., Sunday, April 2 at the Eagle's Club in Vermillion.
Topics to be discussed will be:
1. Handling difficult situations during a game.
2. Umpire evaluation.
3. What to call when in doubt.
Those who want to be a member of the South Dakota Baseball Umpires Association can fulfill the necessary requirements at this clinic.
