Registration deadline May 22 Citizens who are not yet registered to vote only have approximately a week to do so.
Clay County Auditor Ruth Brunick reminds residents who still need to register that the deadline is 5 p.m. May 22 at her office in the courthouse.
Registration may also be completed during regular business hours that day at the city finance office and locations which provide drivers licenses, food stamps, TANF, WIC, military recruitment and assistance to the disabled as provided by the Department of Human Services.
The primary election will be held June 6.
