Vermillion Youth Track results The Vermillion Youth Track Club competed at the 2000 USATF/Iowa Junior Olympic qualifying meet on Sunday, May 21 at Roberts Stadium in Sioux City, IA.
Bantams (Born 1990-1992): Matt Nelson, second � long jump (11' 10 3/4") and 100m (15.87), third � 200m (34.82). Casey Carlson, second � 800m (3:06.36) and 1500m (6:28.10), third � long jump (11'8 1/2").
Midgets (Born 1988-1989): Andrew Manning, first � 3000m (11:38) and 1500m (5:28), second ��high jump (3' 8"). Jeff Donnelly, first � 80m hurdles (17.08) and high jump (3' 10"), third � long jump (11' 7 1/4").
Youth (Born 1986-1987): Annie Carlson, first � long jump (15' 1 1/2"), 100m hurdles (18.75) and 200m hurdles (33.42),second � high jump (4' 6"). Kellen Cusick, first � shot put (45' 2"), discus (111' 5"), and long jump (16' 7", second � high jump (4' 11").
All participants qualify for the USATF/Iowa state meet to be held June 17-18 at Des Moines.
