Locals place at Fox Run golf event

Locals place at Fox Run golf event The Vermillion team of Rob and Tom Schaack won the 14-15 year-old division of the Fox Run Parent-Child Golf Tournament in Yankton on June 25. Their winning score of 82 was one stroke better than the second place team. Rob Schaack also won two pin prizes for the longest drive on #3 and closest to the pin on #17.

Brad Schaack of Vermillion and Ken Schaack of Pierre placed second in the 12-13 year-old division scoring a 42. A score of 39 won this division. The tourney format was alternate shot after both players teed off on each hole.
