City gets grant from VBWDD The City of Vermillion received a $12,500 grant from the Vermillion Basin Water Development District to cover the cost of a water distribution system network analysis for the city's water system performed by Banner Associates of Brookings.
The study provides the city with expected operating pressures in the water distribution system, a fire flow analysis showing flow rates available for fire fighting in various areas of the city, recommendations for improvements to the city's water storage capacity, and recommendations for improvements to the water distribution system.
