Clubs Senior Citizens Center

Thirty card players, along with 19 bridge, eight pitch and three skip-bo players enjoyed wednesday afternoon, June 28 at the Senior Citizens Center.

Bridge winners were Shirley Riehle, high; Isabel Manning, second; Barb Ernst, third; Barb Kronaizl, blind bogey; and Leona Kryger, low.

Refreshments were furnished by Eleanor Offerdahl, Margaret Bierle, Lois Ballard, Margaret Melby and Rosie Hubert.

Men and women are welcome � no reservation needed, from 1 to 4 p.m., come join us.

Centerville Christian Women

The Centerville Christian Women's Club invites all ladies from the area to our "You are Sew Beautiful" brunch. We will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on July 12 in Pascale Memorial Hall.

"Keeping You in Stitches" will be the Stitching Sisters from Viborg. They have a vast array of items that you must come and see. "Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sew" Jessica Skyberg of Beresford will honor us with two Sew-los. "Choosing the Right Pattern" is an important step in every sewing project. Loretta Sorensen of Yankton will tell how women can hem their lives so they won't unravel. You'll learn sew much!

The Coyote Cubs

The Coyote Cubs 4-H club met on Jan. 20 at the Safety Center. The roll call topic was "Your Favorite Football Team." Shelli Knutson gave a food demonstration. Andrea Lias gave a demonstration on card boxes. New state fair books were handed out. Shelli Knutson and Sarah and Andrea Lias were hostesses.

The Coyote Cubs 4-H club met on Feb. 17 at the Safety Center. Enrollment forms for camp and fruit sales were discussed.

The Coyote Cubs met on March 16 at the Safety Center. Bulletin boards were made as a club project. Hostesses were Kate, Julie, and Emily Renner.

The Coyote Cubs met on April 13 at the Safety Center. The roll call topic was "Your All-Time Favorite Movie." Kyle and Tony Hubert were the hosts. Demonstrations were given by Troy Manning on dog care. Kyle Hubert's demonstration was on beef "wean to vaccine"; Tony Hubert on beef by-products and Sarah Lias on Easter eggs. The club discusses possibly doing a ceramics class in the summer.

The Coyote Cubs 4-H club met on June 15 at the Safety Center. Roll call was "Your Favorite Kind of Car." The following demonstrations were given: Casey Carlson on marshmallow clouds, Kate Renner on decorative soaps, Tabitha Hubert on herb gardens, Julie Renner on decorative cards, Chris Lynch on electrical cords, and Emily Renner on paper baskets. Achievement Days were discussed at the meeting. The next meeting will be Aug. 17.
