Dakota Day parade will do about-face; to start from west Approval was given by the Vermillion City Council Monday to a change in the Dakota Day parade route this year.
The parade has traditionally begun at Vermillion High School and traveled west on Main Street.
This fall, it will run east on Main Street starting at the courthouse. At Plum Street, the parade will run north. It will end on Clark Street.
