ENT surgeon will do outreach in Vermillion Lake Area Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy, Watertown, will offer outreach ENT surgical services to the Vermillion area.
Kenneth Rogotzke, DO, of Watertown, will be the visiting specialist in ear, nose and throat surgery and allergy treatment.
Rogotzke will hold regular outreach clinics and provide surgical services at Sioux Valley Vermillion Hospital beginning Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. Additional outreach dates will be announced soon. Surgeries Rogotzke will offer the patients of the Vermillion area include ear tube insertion, eardrum repair, tonsillectomy, sinus and throat surgery and a variety of other procedures.
Rogotzke graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls and attended medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Bi-County Community Hospital and Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. Rogotzke is board certified in otorhinolaryngology and oro-facial plastic surgery, and has been in practice in Watertown for the past 13 years.
He has also served patients in a number of satellite locations in South Dakota and Minnesota. In addition to caring for patients, Rogotzke has lectured to many groups and professional organizations, and has been instrumental in developing education programs for physicians at a recent conference. He is also actively involved in an advisory position as medical director of Mallard Pointe Surgical Center in Watertown.
Rogotzke recently received national recognition as one of six physicians to receive the Presidential Achievement Certificate at the Clinical Assembly of American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
