Junior golfers participate in annual tourney The culmination of the Junior Golf program at The Bluffs was the annual tournament for the participants.
With the weather cooperating, 85 youngsters between ages 7 and 15 registered for the competitions which were grouped by age and gender. There were hot dogs with all the fixings and chips furnished courtesy of Hy-Vee, and beverages supplied by the club for the kids after their matches were completed. Medals were provided for the place winners by Sertoma.

Tie scores were "played off" by putting contests. The youngest age groups played three holes. The middle group played five holes and the upper ages played a regular nine-hole round.
