Adams named Senior Master Technician by Ford Motors Mike Adams, who has been employed at Vermillion Ford for 22 years, has been named a Senior Master Technician by Ford Motor Company.
This is the highest level of technical training recognition offered by Ford Motor Company.
With the honor, Adams has been invited to the first annual Senior Master Gala Recognition event Oct. 2-6, a four-night cruise, with ports of call in Nassau, Coco Cay and Key West, FL.
Fewer than 400 Ford or Lincoln/Mercury technicians in the United States have achieved the Senior Master Technician status.
As of July of this year, 1,360 technicians hold 2,509 Master Technician awards. There are three categories of Master Technicians: Engine (953 awarded), Drivetrain (589 awarded), and Chassis (967 awarded). Because a Senior Master is a "triple Master," each Senior Master is also accounted for in the above numbers for Master Technicians.
Adams, who lives in Vermillion with his wife, Ruth, has been an ASE certified Master Tech for 24 years. He is also certified in Advanced Level engine performance.
