Bike riders collect $1,600

Bike riders collect $1,600 A bike ride for St. Jude Children's Hospital was held Sunday, Sept. 17 with a total of approximately $1,600 collected.

Nearly 40 riders, walkers and joggers took part on their journey to Burbank and back.

Thanks to all the volunteers and contributors who made the ride possible. Mary Geffre Johnson, coordinator, 1516 East Cherry Street, Vermillion, is still taking contributions. The goal is $2,000.
