Schedule for University Dakota Days announced The USD Dakota Days 2000 Committee has announced the 2000 schedule of events. Activities begin on Monday, Oct. 9 and conclude Saturday, Oct. 14. The theme for this year's celebration is "Discover the Treasurers."
Monday, Oct. 9
* 9 p.m.: Whitewashing campus. Participants meet on east side of the Coyote Student Center (CSC).
Tuesday, Oct. 10
* 7:30 p.m.: Pep rally, west side of CSC.
* 8 p.m.: Johnny Holm concert, west side of CSC.
Wednesday, Oct. 11
* 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Cleaning of USD letters, Bluffs Golf Course parking lot.
* 4 p.m.: Jell-O wrestling, CSC courtyard.
* 7 p.m.: Leadership reception, Rushmore rooms, CSC.
Thursday, Oct. 12
* 6 p.m.: Treasure hunt, CSC courtyard.
* 7:30 p.m.: Neuharth Lecture, Theatre I, Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts.
* 8 p.m.: Tom Clark, comedian, Charlie's (CSC).
Friday, Oct. 13
* 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Sumo wrestling and Orbitron, east side of CSC.
* 8 p.m.: Capers and Coronation, Slagle Auditorium
* Midnight: Goonies, the movie, Charlie's (CSC).
Saturday, Oct. 14
* 10 a.m.: Dakota Days Parade.
* 2 p.m.: Football game, DakotaDome.
* 8 p.m.: Stece Meade, hypnotist, Commons.
* Midnight: Goonies, the movie, Charlie's (CSC).
