The new road begins just west of Vermillion near Holmes Welding. A new road approach to the nearly completed Dawson Bridge, south of Vermillion, will junction with Highway 19 farther south of where it has been when everything is completed. Travel is not welcome on these roads as heavy construction equipment is moving fast and is very busy in an effort to complete the roadways in the near future.
