Cross-country teams shine Both the Tanager girls' and boys' cross-country teams made themselves known at the South Sioux City Marsha Koebernick Memorial Cross-Country meet which was run at the Covington Golf Course in South Sioux City on Friday, Sept. 28.
Gaining first and second places for their teams: Eric Dehner came in first in his class with a time of 16:03.2 to lead the VHS boys to second place in the 10-team division; and Angie Rydell ran a 16:07 second place time to pace the Tanager girls to #1 in their 12 team division.
Other boys placing in the top 15, in their division, for VHS were: #3 � Darryl Neufeld and #12 � Ben Parsons.
Five girls placed in the top 15 for Vermillion in their division: #2 � Rydell; #4 � Michelle Rasmussen; #9 � Morgan Brooks; #10 � Theresa Ring; and #13 � Megan Griffith.
