Golfers earn varsity letters Vermillion High School varsity golf team members were awarded their "letters" during the final team meeting.
Senior letter winners were Brett Hogen, Jeremi Cowman and Ryan Nelson. Underclassmen Rob Schaack (sophomore), Nathan Boots (freshman), and eighth-graders Chris Moen and Brad Schaack also earned varsity letters.
In the team voting results: Captain � Brett Hogen; Most Valuable � Brett Hogen; and Most Improved � Brad Schaack and Nathan Boots (a tie).
Coach Kirk Hogen said he thought practically every one of the underclassmen had shown improvement over previous seasons or during the current campaign. He looks forward to next year's boys' golf season and another successful Tanager team.
