Washburn receives Creighton degree Creighton University, Omaha, NE, awarded Bruce Washburn of Vermillion a doctor of pharmacy degree after its 2000 summer session concluded in August.
Creighton is an independent Catholic university operated by the Jesuits. It has been ranked No. 1 for the past five years among Midwestern universities in the U.S. News & World Report magazine's "America's Best Colleges" edition.
Creighton enrolls approximately 6,300 students in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, the Graduate School, University College, and the schools of nursing, medicine, law, pharmacy and allied health professions, dentistry, and summer sessions.
