Frye, Senne are selected as VHS students of month Jennifer Frye and Anthony Senne were chosen as the Vermillion High School Students of the Month for November.
These seniors have demonstrated an excellent work ethic in the classroom and are leadership examples in the community. For their efforts, they will receive a $100 scholarship from First National Bank in Vermillion.
Frye has been involved in marching, pep and concert band. She is also active in choir, cheerleading, and Natural Helpers. Her faculty endorsement reflected that Frye "is present every day, cooperative and enthusiastic."
Frye's parents are Darleen and James Frye. Her college plans are to attend The University of South Dakota while majoring in business.
Senne's endorsement noted that "Anthony excels in academics and athletics. He is an outstanding young man and a leader among his peers." Senne has been active in football, track, and National Honor Society as well as being a Boys' State delegate.
His future educational plans include pursuing a pre-med degree at Augustana College or the University of Denver. His parents are Ron and Lana Senne.
