Lang wins heat at relays

Lang wins heat at relays Zeb Lang, Vermillion, a sophomore at Cornell University, won his 3,000-meter heat at the Dec. 2 Cornell Relays at Barton Hall.

Lang finished first in his heat with a time of 9:28.5 at the indoor track and field meet. He placed 10th overall among 32 runners. No team scores were kept.

A 1999 Vermillion High School graduate, he is the son of Dr. Marlene Jacobson of Vermillion and Steve Lang, Alpine, TX.
