They curse the white stuff as they shovel their walks and drives, dodge drifts on the highways and pray that they don't become stuck. In contrast, kids don't just welcome snow. They practically embrace it. These first-graders at Austin Elementary � Christopher Amundson, Clint Hubert, Mitchell Nelson, Ethan Cleaver, Chanel Muecke, Samantha Girard and Shane Whitman � find recess is more enjoyable now that their playground has been turned into a winter wonderland.
