Residents can 'Celebrate Vermillion' Ringing in the new year has become a tradition with "Celebrate Vermillion" on Dec. 31 at the Coyote Student Center and DakotaDome on The University of South Dakota campus.
"Celebrate Vermillion" runs from 7:30 p.m. to midnight and will feature fun for all ages.
The event will include music, dancing, games, karaoke, food and a special fireworks display at midnight.
Admission is $2. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
"Celebrate Vermillion" is designed to be a family-oriented, alcohol-free and tobacco-free celebration. Sponsors include Gateway, First National Bank, Community First Bank, First National Bank South Dakota, Hy-Vee Food Stores, Polaris, CorTrust Bank, First Dakota National Bank, Wells Fargo and Broadcaster Press.
