That didn't stop the normal hustle and bustle found on Vermillion's Main Street. People in cars, trucks and even bicycles carefully negotiated the snow-filled street. Approximately three inches of snow fell in the Vermillion area last Sunday and early Monday. A cold front from the north caused temperatures to plunge below zero. Gusting winds made Monday just that more miserable by causing a numbing wind chill factor and reducing visibility because of blowing snow.
