Swim teams split unusual dual meet The University of South Dakota men's swimming and diving team won a 183-63 dual meet over Minnesota State, Mankato.
The USD women's team fell to Minnesota State, Mankato 124-109.
Due to winter weather conditions, each team competed at their respective universities and e-mailed the results to each other. No diving competition was held.
On the men's side, USD won all 13 events and also took 10 second place finishes. Freshmen Mike Kaiser and Charles
Scribner and senior David Nelson each won two events.
USD's women won eight events, including three by Sara Pokela and two each by Kari Kopecky and Sanami Fottral.
