Local quilt guild to give free lessons The Vermillion Quilt Guild will start a "block of the month" on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. at the 4-H Center, Vermillion.
Beginner and intermediate quilters are invited to join in the project. Each month a new quilt block will be demonstrated and the pattern given to the participants.
The classes are free, with a small charge for handouts. Information on the classes and supplies will be given at the January meeting. Membership in the quilt guild is not required to come to the free classes.
