Slaughter scheduled to speak at USD The University of South Dakota is sponsoring the Women's History Month speaker, Jane Slaughter from the University of New Mexico, March 21-23.
Slaughter's evening lecture to be held March 22 will be co-billed with Sigma Xi and is tentatively titled "Bodies and Borders: Women's Bodies, Public Health and National Welfare."
Slaughter's specialty is women's history, sexuality and modern Europe.
