Celebrate 50 years Joann Smith and Ray H. Schulz were married Feb. 24, 1951 at Brule Creek Lutheran Church near Spink.
They celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family weekend in Sioux Falls. Joining them was their son, Paul Schulz, his wife, Mary, and their sons, Chris and Colin, all of Coon Rapids, MN; and their daughter, Sally Schmitz, her husband, Jerry, and their children, Allen and Emily, who live in Vermillion.
The Schulzes were long-time farmers in the Spink and Vermillion area. They are now retired, and living at 1207 Crestview Dr., Vermillion, SD 57069.
