USD men's basketball now ranked third The South Dakota men's basketball team, which defeated Morningside 80-69 Feb. 17 in Sioux City, IA, has jumped up a spot to No. 3 in the country, according to the NABC/Division II Bulletin rankings released Feb. 19.
The Coyotes are 21-3 overall and sit atop the North Central Conference with a 14-2 record. The Coyotes were ranked No. 4 in the country on Feb. 12.
Adelphi (24-0) remains the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA Division II. Southern Indiana (23-1) is ranked second, with South Dakota at third, Kentucky Wesleyan (21-3), fourth, and Washburn (KS) ranked fifth in the poll.
