USD team up to No. 6 in NCAA The South Dakota men's basketball team, which won a pair of close games on the road this past weekend, has moved up three spots to No. 6 in the country, according to the NABC/Division II Bulletin rankings released Monday, Feb. 5.
The Coyotes are 18-3 overall and sit atop the North Central Conference with an 11-2 record.
The Coyotes were ranked No. 9 in the country on Jan. 29. South Dakota defeated Nebraska-Omaha 70-67 on Friday, Feb. 2 and Northern Colorado 64-62 on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Greeley, CO.
Adelphi (20-0) remains the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA Division II. Southern Indiana (18-1) is ranked second, Wingate (19-1) is third; California State-Bernardino (17-1) is fourth while Salem International is ranked No. 5.
