Vermillion Public Library has supervised study center Children in need of a place to study after school can once again utilize the Vermillion Public Library's study center.
The library offers a quiet, supervised area for schoolwork available to all school-aged children.
The study center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the library from 3:30 to 5 p.m. A certified teacher is available to help with questions and research.
The library began offering its services for the study center at the beginning of the last school year. Since then, the library has seen over 300 children take advantage of the study center.
"We have had over 350 children use the study center since it began September 1999," said Children's Librarian Kay Dahl.
