Exchange vows Sheri Ann Stach and Eric Frederick Speckan exchanged vows on Aug. 12, 2000 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Father Donald Imming officiating.
Parents of the couple are Robert and Gloria Barnes of Vermillion, and Robert and Heather Stach of Lakeland, FL, and Klaus and Karin Speckan of Vernon Hills, IL.
The matron of honor was Susan Stach, Vermillion. The bestmen were Michael Speckan and Mark Speckan, both of Vernon Hills, IL. The bride's attendants were Meaghan Wilson, Amber Berglin, Tracy Aukerman and Thad Johnson. The bride's nieces, Bobbi and Molli Greenfield, were junior bridesmaids. Groomsmen were Andrew Aranda, Alan Merlock, Andy Rehberger and Jason Schuette. Sarah Stach was the flower girl and Ryan Engelking was the ring bearer.
Michael Stach, Eric Barnes, Kelly Locke and Mark Klaerner were ushers. Meaghan Wilson sang The Wedding Song and Bobbi Greenfield sang Be My Chief Guest Lord. The bride's aunt, Connie Parish, played the piano and organ. Gifts were brought up by Holly, Katie and Kelli Speckan.
Immediately after the ceremony a reception, dinner and dance were held at St. Agnes auditorium. Carole and Tom Locke, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Klaus and Helga Hohne, aunt and uncle of the groom, were hosts.
The couple spent their honeymoon in St. Lucia, West Indies.
The bride is employed by the City of Farmers Branch as a recreation programmer at their senior center. The groom is a mechanical engineer at Raytheon Systems, Inc. The couple currently resides in Dallas, TX.
