Nelson named to dean's list The College of St. Catherine announces that Courtney Nelsen, daughter of Connie and Dennis Nelsen, Vermillion, has been named to the fall semester dean's list for the 2000-2001 academic year.
Students taking at least three courses (12 semester credits) are recognized for achieving a grade point average of at least a 3.667 on a four-point scale.
Nelsen is a first year student majoring in biology. At St. Catherine's, she is a member of the soccer team and Best Buddies and is the recipient of the O'Shaughnessy scholarship. Nelsen is a 2000 graduate of Vermillion High School.
