Olson inducted into honor society Drake Thomas Olson of Vermillion has accepted membership in Golden Key National Honor Society and was individually honored during a campus ceremony.
"It is only fitting that a high academic achiever like Drake be recognized by Golden Key," said Jim Lewis, Golden Key founder and executive director. "Our members are inspired and motivated by the challenge not only to be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments but also to make a positive impact on our world through the society's commitment to service."
Golden Key National Honor Society is a non-profit, academic honors organization that provides academic recognition, leadership opportunities, community service, career networking and scholarships.
The society has more than 300 chapters in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, South Africa and New Zealand. Membership into the society is by invitation only to the top 15 percent of juniors and seniors in all fields of study.
