Pool tournament funds to benefit Tim Brodersen The men of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at The University of South Dakota are hosting a charity pool tournament March 24 at Chalky's Bar, 9 West Main Street, Vermillion.

The event starts as 12 p.m. with registration at 11:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place contestants in both doubles and singles.

All proceeds go to the Tim Brodersen Fund. Brodersen is a local Vermillion high school student with a-plastic anemia. Brodersen will be receiving a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Phi Delta Theta's goal is to help Brodersen's family financially in their time of need.
