The Coyotes were defeated 15-0 by Lynn University and 6-3 by Lewis University as the Rebel Games conluded in Orlando, FL.
Lynn scored 15 runs in the first three innings in defeating the Coyotes.
Lewis opened a 6-1 lead after five innings and hung on to turn back South Dakota 6-3. Tiffany Davis hit her second home run of the spring and had two RBI against Lewis.
The South Dakota softball team could not generate any offense and fell to Lake Superior State on Thursday evening, March 8 at the Rebel Games. South Dakota pitcher Janice Alswager suffered the loss as she fell to 2-2 on the season. Julie MacRunnels had one hit and Davis had a hit and two walks for the Coyotes.

For South Dakota, Hill started and suffered the loss. She worked three innings, allowing two runs, one earned run, five hits, and she had one strikeout. Alswager also pitched for the Coyotes, recording three innings of two-hit, shutout relief pitching.
The only offensive highlights for the Coyotes came off the bat of Tiffany Hopkins, who had a triple and a double in three trips to the plate.
The Coyotes played Briar Cliff on March 14 and Winona State on March 16 at the DakotaDome. The Coyotes will host the DakotaDome Classic on March 17-18.
