To be wed James and Ann Stewart, Vermillion, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine, to Stephen Bruning, son of Wayne and Marsha Bruning, Vermillion.

The bride received a B.A. degree from South Dakota State University, and is employed as a marketing communication specialist at Sioux Valley Hospital.

The groom received a

B.S. degree from The University of South Dakota and

is employed as a claim

manager for State Farm Insurance.

The couple is planning an Aug. 4 wedding.
