Heine has new role at Daktronics

Heine has new role at Daktronics Daktronics in Brookings has announced that Joel Heine from Vermillion, has transferred to the video systems engineering department.

Heine is a part-time student employee with the company. Previously, he worked in the customer service support and repair division, where he worked after being hired in May 2000.

Heine is currently a senior at South Dakota State University in Brookings and is majoring in electronic engineering technology. He plans to graduate this December.

Daktronics video systems department designs the control and display systems for the company's large screen video displays, such as the ProStar¨ and ProAd¨ displays at the Xcel Energy Center where the Minnesota Wild NHL hockey team plays.

Daktronics is an internationally-known designer and manufacturer of electronic scoring and timing systems, computer-programmable displays and video voting systems.
