Johnson staffer will visit county to discuss issues impacting area Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) has announced that Sonja Dean, staff assistant in the Sioux Falls office, will hold a Clay County Outreach Day on Tuesday, April 10.
Local residents are invited to stop by Whimp's Place in Burbank, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Dean will be available to discuss concerns of local citizens and she will meet with county and community leaders about issues impacting the area.
"Many of my constituents are unable to travel to my offices in Rapid City, Aberdeen or Sioux Falls. Traveling office hours help me remain in touch with the concerns of all South Dakotans," Johnson said. "They provide an opportunity for people to stop by and share their views, ask questions or request help with a problem. South Dakotans are my number one priority, and I want to make sure that everyone regardless of where they live has an opportunity to meet personally with my staff."
Johnson said that South Dakotans should also feel free to call, write or visit his service offices in Rapid City, Aberdeen, Sioux Falls or Washington D.C. to share their concerns. South Dakotans may also call Johnson's office toll-free by dialing 1-800-537-0025 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
