Salazar awarded scholarship Anne Marie Salazar, daughter of Diego and Rita Salazar, Vermillion, and a 2001 graduate of Vermillion High School, has been awarded the President's Distinguished Student Scholarship.
Salazar will be a freshman this fall at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in the Institute of Technology.
In offering this highly competitive award, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities honors incoming students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and leadership. The university presents the award in recognition of the achievements and potential of the most promising incoming freshmen � students who will continue to distinguish themselves as campus leaders and as outstanding university scholars.
