USD summer school will assist children The School of Education at The University of South Dakota is conducting a summer school for children who are experiencing learning difficulties.
This summer school experience includes students enrolled in school from kindergarten to 12th grade. It will run from July 9 to Aug. 2 from 12:30 to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The cost of the session is $40. In the event there are more requests than can adequately be provided for, students will be selected based on the severity of the learning problems and on a first come, first served basis. The university does not provide transportation.
Registration needs to be completed by May 20, so that there is time to contact teachers for information related to specific learning problems that may need to be addressed during summer school.
