Edelen graduates April 28

Edelen graduates April 28 Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, has announced that Anthony C. Edelen of Vermillion was among more than 525 students to graduate during the 95th spring commencement exercises.

The ceremonies were held on Saturday, April 28 in Bearcat Arena.

The commencement speaker was Missouri Governor Bob Holden. He personally congratulated each graduate after they received their diplomas. Dr. Dean L. Hubbard, president of NW Missouri State University, conferred the degrees.

The 2001 graduating class at NWMSU was one of the largest. The students received bachelor's, master's and specialist degrees.

Edelen graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the College of Professional and Applied Studies with a major in international business. He is a 1996 graduate of Vermillion High School and is currently employed with the Gap Inc. in Aspen, CO.
