Graduation set for Sunday

Graduation set for Sunday Members of the Vermillion High School Class of 2001 will receive their diplomas at graduation exercises scheduled to begin 2:30 p.m. May 27 in Slagle Auditorium on The University of South Dakota campus.

Barry R. Vickrey, dean of The University of South Dakota School of Law, will speak to the graduates.

Class comments will be provided by senior class co-presidents Tabitha Hubert and Elly Kjose, and student council representatives Laura Wilson and Sarah Mollet.

Chris Yutrzenka, student council secretary/treasurer, will provide closing remarks.

Music will be provided by Jane Holoch, organist, and the Vermillion High School Concert Choir under the direction of Kristin Iverson.

High School Principal Doug Tuetken will introduce the speakers and present the graduating class.

Diplomas will be presented by Dr. Robert Mayer, superintendent, Tom Craig, school board president, and Jim Kinney, school board vice president.
