VHS golfers victorious over Lennox HS guests Following their tournament victory in Sioux City on April 23, the Tanager girls' golf team entertained Lennox on Tuesday, April 24 at The Bluffs.
Led by Allison Stewart's medalist score of 41, the varsity accomplished another dominant 26-point victory.
Team results were: Vermillion, 182; Lennox, 208.
Individual varsity scores: Karrie Plate � 43; Brooke Nelson � 47, Tabitha Hubert � 51, Ashley Bjorkman � 54, and Megan Deaver � 56.
The JV's medalist was Jackie Thomas with 53 as the final totals were:
VHS/JV � 232, LHS/JV � 257.
Other scorers for the young Tanagers were: Nicole Veitz � 54, Kaylie Heesch � 61, Meggie Donnelly � 64, Dani Weydert � 78, and Megan Bedard � 82.
The weather was great for golf, again � 70 degrees, negligible wind, bright sun.
